Elektrownia Powiśle - System AV

AV Project

The uniqueness of the project lies in the revitalization of the historical space, bringing it back to life. Instead of constructing another commercial space from scratch, the investors decided to create a world-class, multifunctional space for the city’s residents. Due to the historical nature of the project, it was not enough for the designed audio system to provide the highest quality sound – equally important for the Investor was the integration of the sound system while maintaining the consistency of the concept and its uniqueness. Items salvaged from the buildings were reused to create interior decorations.

Elektrownia Powiśle is not an ordinary retail space project, where the focus was solely on the musical background and adjusting the appropriate sound level in corridors, toilets, and a few other areas. Based on the client’s requirements and desired functionality, the sound system was designed using digital distribution in the Dante standard. The entire facility includes 6 server rooms with audio equipment in rack cabinets, all interconnected for data exchange.

The system is controlled using multiple zone controllers and iPad application.

The heart of the system is the Bose ControlSpace EX-1280 sound processor. The installation utilized 15 amplifiers and over 200 Bose speakers.
