Innovative AV solutions for education and science

In the modern Alchemium building at the Technical University of Lodz, we have implemented a comprehensive audio-video system that raises the standards of didactics and academic conferences. Thanks to modern AV technologies, Alchemium has become a center for interactive lectures, seminars and scientific meetings.

Scope

  • Main auditorium – space for more than 500 people, equipped with an advanced projection, sound and control system.
  • Senate Hall – a prestigious conference room with a discussion and voting system, dedicated to university meetings.
  • Two auditoriums – spaces for lectures and presentations, with high-quality projection and sound systems.
  • 15+ lecture halls – flexible AV solutions to accommodate different class formats.

01 Project analysis

An in-depth analysis of functional requirements for auditoriums, auditoriums and lecture halls was carried out before work began. The specifics of the space, the needs of the users and the technical requirements for projection, sound and control automation systems were taken into account. A key aspect was to ensure intuitive operation and high-quality audiovisual transmission, which was crucial for the comfort of lecturers and students.

02 Planning

Based on the analysis, a detailed plan for implementing AV systems was developed. Equipment placement was planned to ensure even audio and video coverage in each space. The processes for integrating projection, sound and control systems were also defined, taking into account the latest technologies in multimedia management and automation of audiovisual functions.

03 Implementation

The project included the installation of advanced multimedia systems in the main auditorium for 500 people, two auditoriums, the senate hall and more than 15 lecture halls. The technologies used enabled seamless communication between spaces, integration with videoconferencing systems, and ensured high image and sound quality. As part of the implementation, training was also provided to university staff to make it as easy as possible to operate the modern AV systems.
