Mandoria Amusement Park

A unique audio system integration project in the Renaissance City of Entertainment.

Mandoria City of Adventure is the largest indoor theme park in Europe, styled as a Renaissance trading town.

The investors set out to create a unique immersive experience, combining visual and audio elements of the Renaissance era world. The main goal was to implement a state-of-the-art sound system that would provide high quality sound in difficult acoustic conditions, be intuitively managed, adapting the sound to different thematic zones, and create immersive sound effects that harmonize with the attractions.

01 Planning

During the planning stage, a detailed acoustic analysis of the entire facility was conducted, taking into account challenges such as the large ceiling heights (over 10 m), the lack of acoustic adaptation in open spaces, and the need to install equipment unobtrusively so as not to disrupt the historic aesthetics.

We designed a comprehensive placement of speakers at strategic points to achieve optimal listening conditions and even sound distribution throughout the park.

02 Analysis and testing

To guarantee the highest sound quality, we conducted a series of tests. Key steps included: testing different sound system configurations for echo and noise reduction, real-time calibration of the system to suit different noise levels (carousels, roller coasters), integration of the sound system with lighting, and synchronization of sound effects with attractions.

Tests have shown that the solution must include real-time dynamic audio control.

03 Final implementation

The implementation of the system included the installation of an advanced audio infrastructure based on DANTE technology, ensuring high audio quality and low latency.

Thanks to its redundant architecture, the system guarantees uninterrupted operation even in case of failure.
