Modern AV solutions for the University of Lodz

For the University of Lodz, we implemented a comprehensive audiovisual system covering the Main Auditorium of the Faculty of Economics and Sociology, common spaces and an internal information system (digital signage). The main goal was to create a coherent AV infrastructure that enhances the quality of lectures, conferences and academic events, and improves communication within the university.

The technologies used allow for the transmission and recording of classes, interactive communication between students and lecturers, and dynamic management of information content displayed on screens located in key areas of the building.

01 Planning and design

We conducted an acoustic analysis and optimally placed the projectors, screens and sound system in the Main Auditorium. In the common spaces, we implemented a distributed sound system to ensure even sound throughout the building. A digital signage system allows for dynamic display of messages and schedules, and a central control system allows for easy management of all AV equipment via intuitive touch panels.

02 Implementation and commissioning

Upon approval of the project, we installed 4K UHD laser projectors, electric screens and a sound system tailored to the Main Auditorium and common spaces. Digital signage was deployed at strategic points in the building, enabling dynamic management of information content. The configuration of video conferencing and online broadcasting provided the ability to conduct hybrid classes and record lectures. The entire system was integrated with the central AV control system, and after installation we conducted tests and user training.

The end result

Thanks to the implementation of modern audiovisual solutions, the University of Lodz has gained a multifunctional educational space, suitable for lectures, conferences and academic events in both stationary and hybrid modes. The digital signage system has significantly improved communication within the university, allowing information to be updated quickly and the message to reach students and employees.
